About Us
NYC Marketing Mixer is an organization for professionals in marketing, branding, innovation, digital, and strategy across all industries, working in New York City. It was formed in January 2009 by Andrew Der and Billy Burgess as a way for marketers to connect with colleagues, share best practices, and develop in their careers.
We host monthly networking happy hours at different venues throughout Manhattan. We strive to keep the group’s membership at a healthy 80/20 balance when it comes to client-side/agency-side, employed/job-seekers, permanent/freelancers, etc. to maximize the productivity of our events. Marketers from the following companies have attended in the past: Pepsi, Colgate-Palmolive, L'Oreal, Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy, Macy's, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Thomson Reuters, Bloomingdale's, MTV, and American Express.
